Youth-Life-Line ist an online/e-mail helpline dedicated to young people in acute crises and with suicidality.

The support is given anonymously and free of charge. All supporters are bound to professional discretion.

The team consists of peer-supportes and therapists who work within a protected system where each user can create their own mailbox.

INFOFON is a telephone service from young people for young people under the age of 27. Daily from 6 to 10 pm people can call and discuss their issues and challenging situations with well trained volunteers their age in order to get advice and help. In addition, there’s an online platform with chat and forums.

Weltbewusst December 20, 2014

What they do:

WELTbewusst – this consumption critical city tour shows you a different view onto your city. Participants (youngsters) learn which consequences their comsumption has for people and nature – and what alternatives there are.  The “sights” that you visit are outlets and branches from global enterprises such as McDonald’s, H&M, Starbucks or vodafone.

Freudentanz September 26, 2014

Freudentanz is a “dancing project without boarders”. Children and teenagers temporarily living in hostels for asylum seekers learn how to dance and perform in front of their parents once a year. The young people gain lots of self-esteem and new perspectives.

The team helps the students to develop their personality, teach them German and support them to finish school and obtain a degree. They bring them into internships and apprenticeships and have very high success rates.
