What they do:
The Hanseatische Materialverwaltung (HMV) is the central point of contact for material and ideas. Here, cultural projects, public schools, universities, artists and associations in Hamburg (Germany) can get the material and items they need to brint their social, ecological or creative ideas into life.
After each movie shoot, after events or after fairs, organizors throw away huge amounts of different material (in addition to the “regular garbage”. HMV collects all these items in a publicly accessible storage and so hepls to realise new ideas by avoiding garbage at the same time.
